Babie lato - my stained glass alter picture of Józef Chełmoński made by oil technique on canvas. Babie lato was established in 1875 in Warsaw and is the aftermath of Chełmoński's previous travel to Ukraine. After this trip, Chełmoński was particularly passionate about observing the life of the village and the rhythms that life gave to nature. The work is an example of a naturalistic version of Polish realism
